In other words, you are more likely to have to deal with the aftermath of a road traffic accident involving one of your drivers. If that were not bad enough, if you cannot show that you have warned them to take more care, your own chances of prosecution will also rise.
The best way to approach this is probably not, despite what some employees may suggest, to award drivers extra time off when the weather deteriorates.
